The Lowdown on Business Cards
Business Credit Cards allow so much more flexibility with points and miles, but we always recommend being honest about where you are at and what your business really looks like. It’s too big of a risk, in our opinion, to lie about it and get bank access cut off or worse.
Which Business Card We Recommend:
We recommend the Ink Business Cash or the Ink Business Unlimited to start. Both of these business credit cards have a $0 annual fee, and they both give you an impressive 75,000 Chase points after spending $6,000 in 3 months.
What Constitutes a Business?
Oftentimes people wonder if their side hustle constitutes as a business to apply for a business credit card. The following are side hustles we have heard people approved under, and I’d say they’re worth a shot.
- Door Dash
- Etsy Seller
- Reselling on FB Marketplace
- Craft Fairs
- Custom Projects for Customers (i.e. Building custom furniture, etc.)
- Hosting Garage Sales
- Tutoring
Our recommendation, find yourself a side hustle, and see if it could get you a business card. We love that business credit cards often have lower annual fees. If you are looking for a way to meet minimum spends that are higher, we’ve got a post RIGHT HERE about that!
